Lead day-to-day operational and administrative execution of commercial construction projects. Manage planning, cost control, scheduling, procurement, change management, and coordination across teams. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operational and administrative execution of commercial construction projects.
- Manage project planning, cost control, scheduling, procurement, and change management.
- Coordinate with superintendents, owners, design teams, and subcontractors.
- Oversee documentation, budgets, risk mitigation, and communication.
- Ensure compliance with contracts, drawings, and specifications.
- May lead multiple project phases and mentor assistant project managers.
Requirements
- Previous project management experience on healthcare, higher education, civic, and corporate construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods, project contracts, scheduling, and cost control.
- Proven ability to manage day-to-day project operations, documentation, procurement, and subcontractor performance.
- Proficiency with project management platforms and scheduling tools.
- Excellent communication, organization, contract knowledge, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic project environment with tight deadlines and multiple stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience leading multiple phases of a project.
- Experience mentoring assistant project managers.
- Experience supporting preconstruction activities.
