Project Manager
Project Manager responsible for leading construction projects from planning to close-out, supervising assistant project managers, managing schedules, budgets, and subcontractors, ensuring safety and quality, and resolving disputes. Requires a 4-year degree, 3-5 years of experience, and proficiency in construction management software.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Assistant Project Manager and office assistant.
- Manage submittal and RFI processes.
- Coordinate material deliveries and track job progress.
- Oversee job close-out requirements.
- Enforce jobsite safety.
- Develop and manage project schedules.
- Control costs and report progress.
- Manage changes and resolve disputes.
- Build relationships with design team, owner, and subcontractors.
- Participate in industry or community organizations.
Requirements
- 4-year degree in relevant curriculum plus 3 years of experience, or 4-year degree in non-relevant curriculum plus 5 years of experience.
- OSHA 10 Hour certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Primavera P6, Timberline PJ, and Viewpoint.
- Working knowledge of Navisworks, Revit, and Sketch-up.
- Mastery of quantity take-off and subcontractor solicitation.
- In-depth understanding of building components and trade sequencing.
- Working knowledge of contract language and risk management.
- Experience in construction surveying/layout.
