Seeking a Project Manager to oversee the development and construction of multi-family residential projects. This role is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all phases from inception to turnover, including contracting, scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with building codes.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify qualified trades and suppliers for project bidding.
- Review plans for constructability and provide value engineering insights.
- Write and negotiate contracts with suppliers and trades.
- Perform detailed bid analyses and prepare spreadsheets for management review.
- Compute material quantity lists as needed.
- Collaborate with the General Superintendent to develop and publish construction schedules.
- Coordinate with site superintendents to resolve on-site construction issues.
- Conduct weekly jobsite meetings to facilitate workflow and enforce contract compliance.
- Ensure compliance with all building and safety codes and regulations.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in multi-family or hospitality construction.
- Proficiency in writing construction schedules using Excel or MS Project.
- Ability to work cooperatively with diverse teams.
- Capability to perform under stressful circumstances and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel via private or public air transportation as needed.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering.
- Previous experience in a Superintendent role.
- Land development experience.
- Familiarity with Yardi Voyager or similar property management software.
