Join a company delivering high-performance building solutions that simplify construction and ensure code compliance. As Product Manager, you will own the product line end-to-end, driving strategy, market analysis, and commercial performance for building envelope systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and champion a long-term product strategy and roadmap based on market analysis, competitive landscape, and customer insights.
  • Define product lifecycle management strategies, including new product introduction, optimization, and end-of-life planning.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify unmet customer needs and emerging opportunities in the building envelope space.
  • Gather and synthesize feedback from sales, customers, and industry experts to inform product requirements.
  • Translate market needs into detailed Market Requirements Documents and Product Requirements Documents for R&D and Operations.
  • Work closely with R&D on product design, performance specifications, testing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy, planning, and execution for new product introductions, including positioning, messaging, pricing, and channel strategy.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on product line performance metrics, including revenue, gross margin, volume, and market share.
  • Manage product pricing to ensure profitability while maintaining competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop product collateral, technical literature, and sales tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Building Science, Architecture, Business, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management within building materials, construction, or related heavy manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of managing products through the entire lifecycle, from concept to commercialization.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, construction practices, and building science principles.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present to executive leadership and technical teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Proficiency in product management tools and techniques.

Nice to have

  • MBA degree.
  • Experience with building envelope systems (structural sheathing, insulation, moisture barriers, roofing).
