Growth Product Manager
Join a sports technology company to drive growth for a new phone-only ski coaching app. Own the full funnel from acquisition to retention, running rapid experiments to optimize conversion and engagement. This hybrid role is based in Park City, UT, and requires a hands-on builder with strong analytical skills and a passion for skiing.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end growth funnel for the phone-only product: store listing, install, onboarding, activation, paid conversion, and retention.
- Define key metrics and targets for each funnel stage, instrument the funnel, and diagnose underperformance.
- Run a continuous experimentation cadence with clear hypotheses, measurement, and decision points to lift conversion.
- Partner with the Performance Lead on store listing, landing experiences for paid traffic, and creative-to-product handoff.
- Own the iteration roadmap for the phone-only product, prioritizing by impact on growth metrics.
- Design and ship experiments across onboarding, paywalls, pricing surfaces, retention loops, referral mechanics, and in-product upgrade paths.
- Translate quantitative findings and qualitative customer insights into shipped changes.
- Run your own design pipeline using AI tooling to produce flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups in Figma.
- Use AI tools to scaffold experiments, modify app and web codebases, and build internal tooling.
- Be the primary voice of the phone-only customer, maintaining deep understanding through session replays, reviews, and user interviews.
- Own analytics for the phone product, build trusted dashboards, and surface trends.
- Maintain the feedback loop between funnel data, customer conversations, and product decisions.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years as a growth product manager at a consumer app, D2C business, or subscription product.
- Proven track record of shipping funnel wins with specific experiments and measurable lifts.
- Strong quantitative skills with experience designing experiments and critically reading dashboards.
- Deep customer focus with the ability to understand and act on customer dynamics.
- AI-first mindset with daily use of tools like Claude, Codex, or Cursor, and concrete examples of improved output.
- Comfortable learning new things, building prototypes, and working with codebases.
- Design fluency with the ability to produce production-quality mockups and prototypes in Figma.
- Understanding of funnel design and product design, with attention to detail in copy, microcopy, and spacing.
- Bias to action, preferring to ship small experiments quickly over planning perfect ones.
- High autonomy and initiative, able to identify needs and execute without direction.
- Learning agility to quickly become fluent in skiing, the coaching model, and seasonal business rhythms.
- High standards, believing that quality compounds from hundreds of small details done well.
