Project Manager, Central Laboratory Services
Lead and manage CRO laboratory projects across assay development, clinical testing, and sample management. Accountable for project performance, client satisfaction, timelines, budgets, and cross-functional coordination. Remote position with occasional travel required.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects from initiation to close-out, ensuring detailed planning, execution, and risk management.
- Create and manage project timelines, budgets, revenue forecasts, and resource plans.
- Serve as primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client needs are met.
- Coordinate cross-functional internal teams to deliver contracted services.
- Monitor operational progress and adjust priorities to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and escalate issues as needed.
- Prepare and present project reports and metrics to internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentor junior project managers and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field.
- Experience as a Project Manager in central laboratory services at a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotech company.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis.
- Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Fluency in English.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
