Responsible for managing a large-scale utility solar PV project through design, construction, commissioning, and handover, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, quality, and safety standards while coordinating with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for successful project delivery.
- Manage the EPC contractor throughout construction.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and milestones.
- Control project budget, forecasting and reporting.
- Lead project meetings with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with Romanian regulations and permitting requirements.
- Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Oversee health, safety and environmental performance.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement and construction activities.
- Monitor quality assurance and quality control processes.
- Manage change orders and contract variations.
- Report project progress to senior management.
- Support commissioning and project handover activities.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar.
- 8+ years of project management experience.
- Minimum 3 years managing utility-scale solar PV projects.
- Strong understanding of EPC contracts.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Fluent English required.
Nice to have
- Experience delivering projects above 50MW preferred.
- Knowledge of Romanian construction regulations is advantageous.
- Romanian language advantageous.
