A company building mobile & web solutions for the food and beverage industry seeks Mid & Senior Full Stack Ruby on Rails Developers. Build features, APIs, frontends, manage databases, deploy to Linux. Requires Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, React/Vue.js, Linux, Git, REST APIs. Bonus: Docker, CI/CD, AWS.
Responsibilities
- Develop features, REST APIs, and responsive frontends using Ruby on Rails and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Work with database migrations, queries, and performance optimization
- Deploy and manage applications on Linux servers
- Collaborate using Git in a team environment
- Review code and mentor junior developers
- Lead system architecture and technical decision-making
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and infrastructure
Requirements
- Strong experience with Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL/MySQL
- Frontend skills with React, Vue.js, or Hotwire, plus HTML/CSS/JS
- Hands-on proficiency with Linux OS and command line
- Proficient with Git, branching, merging, and pull requests
- Experience building and maintaining REST APIs
- Ability to debug production issues from logs
- Comfortable deploying and managing applications on Linux servers
Nice to have
- Docker, CI/CD, AWS, Redis, or background job experience
