Program Manager
The Program Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering eye health programs in Lao PDR, working with government and partners to strengthen health systems and reduce avoidable blindness. This role involves program management, stakeholder engagement, and compliance with donor requirements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate program planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting to align with priorities, timelines, budgets, and outcomes.
- Oversee program budgets, reporting, donor requirements, safeguarding, risk, and compliance.
- Manage relationships with government, implementing partners, donors, NGOs, and other stakeholders.
- Support new projects, proposals, partnerships, and funding opportunities aligned with country priorities.
- Foster collaboration and coordination across teams to strengthen delivery and share learning.
- Support program teams and partners to strengthen capability, accountability, and program delivery.
- Represent the organization in relevant meetings, forums, and technical working groups.
Requirements
- At least five years’ experience in program or project management in international development, public health, or a related sector.
- Experience managing donor-funded programs, including implementation, monitoring, reporting, and compliance.
- Experience working with government, partners, and other stakeholders in complex environments.
- Experience coordinating teams and supporting program staff.
- A relevant bachelor’s degree with strong program management, budgeting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
