Senior Quantum Noise Researcher
Develop quantum noise suppression and mitigation algorithms, design scalable software infrastructure for quantum OS, simulate many-body open quantum systems, benchmark state-of-the-art methods, and contribute to publications/patents. Requires MSc in physics, EE, CS or equivalent, strong Python.
Responsibilities
- Develop novel algorithms for quantum noise suppression, mitigation, and characterization
- Design and build scalable software infrastructure to support the quantum operating system
- Model and simulate many-body open quantum systems to understand and improve device performance
- Implement, benchmark, and extend state-of-the-art methods from the quantum computing literature
- Research new methods and contribute to scientific publications, patents, and technical reports
Requirements
- MSc in physics, electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent
- Strong programming capabilities (Python or similar high-level OOP programming languages)
- Self-motivated in learning new topics and works well within a team
Nice to have
- PhD in physics, electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent
- Track record of research in quantum information science (publications, conference presentations, or equivalent)
- Experience developing scalable scientific software packages, frameworks, or tools
