Responsible for facilitating the clearance, settlement, and investigation of client securities transactions. Identifies and resolves settlement issues, monitors errors, and assists with control activities to minimize risk. Requires a bachelor's degree and strong analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Process securities transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices
- Identify and resolve securities settlement issues
- Monitor and suggest solutions to errors to minimize risk to the bank
- Escalate transaction processing issues to the appropriate department and collaborate on solutions
- Assist with control activities and the launch of new products and services
- Ensure processes adhere to audit and control requirements
- Provide client services and handle client inquiries
- Ensure transaction processing with local market counterparties and the Stock Exchange
Requirements
- Relevant experience preferred
- Proven ability to perform concurrent activities in a high-risk environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of macros
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance
