The NPI Engineer will coordinate between R&D and production, manage engineering changes and quality processes, prepare assembly drawings, and oversee BOM and inventory. Requires 3-5 years experience, SolidWorks, and strong mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate R&D and production to implement requirements.
- Manage engineering change orders (ECO) and quality assurance processes.
- Prepare assembly drawings, instructions, jigs, and kits using SolidWorks.
- Manage bills of materials (BOM), configuration management, and inventory levels.
- Support procurement, including issuing purchase orders and vendor negotiations.
- Oversee warehouse activities and inventory receiving.
- Identify and implement improvements in efficiency, reliability, and cost.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience as an NPI engineer.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge of mechanical and technological production capabilities.
- Proficiency in modeling and drawing with SolidWorks, including PDM.
- Experience with Priority ERP.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Fluent English.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of various materials.
- Knowledge of thermal treatments and finish/plating requirements.
- Knowledge of electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems.
