Strategic leader responsible for managing the tender and pricing department, leading a professional team, and driving complex pricing processes for construction and infrastructure projects. Requires civil engineering background, 5+ years experience, and strong negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead tender pricing processes for complex construction and infrastructure projects
- Analyze tender documents, technical specifications, and bills of quantities
- Prepare estimates and schedules while assessing risks and business opportunities
- Manage end-to-end proposal preparation including data collection, analysis, and management approval
- Negotiate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
- Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, execution, procurement, finance, and business development
- Contribute to pricing and tender submission strategy with company management
- Drive process improvement and pricing methodologies in the department
Requirements
- Civil engineer or building engineer degree
- 5-7 years of experience in tenders and pricing in construction/infrastructure
- Significant experience pricing tenders including electro-mechanical systems
- Proven experience pricing complex and large-scale projects
- High proficiency in reading bills of quantities, specifications, and standards
- Experience working with subcontractors and suppliers including commercial negotiation
- High proficiency in Excel and pricing tools
Nice to have
- Familiarity with pump stations and wastewater treatment plants
- Previous managerial experience or leadership of teams/processes
