Financial Operations Lead
We are looking for a FinOps Lead to own the bridge between Finance and Technology, driving scalable systems and processes across quote-to-cash and record-to-report.
Responsibilities
- Translate business needs into scalable financial system requirements and data models.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of financial systems projects, including design, build, UAT, and stabilization.
- Optimize the financial operations stack (CPQ, ERP, billing, analytics) for automation and accuracy.
- Streamline billing, revenue, collections, and reporting processes to reduce manual work.
- Implement preventive/detective controls and maintain SOX/ASC 606 audit-ready documentation.
- Drive change management through training and enablement across global teams.
- Support M&A integrations, new pricing models, and geographic expansion with resilient data and process design.
- Manage financial operations for partner-driven revenues and complex revenue-sharing models.
Requirements
- 8+ years in FinOps, Finance Systems, or Business Operations in SaaS/tech, including 2-3 years leading cross-functional programs.
- Strong understanding of CPQ, CRM, ERP, billing, and analytics platforms; advanced data and Excel skills.
- Deep expertise in quote-to-cash, revenue recognition (ASC 606), billing, collections, GL/close, and financial compliance.
- Proven track record of delivering multi-quarter roadmaps on time with measurable results.
- Excellent communication skills, able to present to executives and lead deep-dive working sessions.
- Ability to craft precise requirements, workflows, data contracts, and UAT scripts.
- Collaborative partner to MIS/BI/PMO/Engineering; skilled at mediating priorities and driving alignment.
- High attention to detail, pragmatic risk management, and decisive action under ambiguity.

- Prior FinOps leadership in a high-growth, multi-entity SaaS environment.
- Experience with SOX readiness/operations.
- Familiarity with CPQ and large-scale payments/reconciliation.
- Exposure to M&A systems integration and data migration.
