Seeking an experienced AutoCAD Software Developer to lead development and maintenance of a critical electrical grid planning application. Responsibilities include AutoCAD customization, system design, Oracle database management, and mentoring. Requires 2+ years AutoCAD dev, 4+ years Oracle SQL, GIS interfaces, and energy sector experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the core electrical grid planning application.
- Perform AutoCAD customization and drafting for electrical grid.
- Execute complex programming and system design tasks.
- Mentor and guide team programmers.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of proven software development experience in AutoCAD, including electrical grid drafting.
- At least 4 years of experience with Oracle databases and SQL.
- At least 4 years of experience in debugging and complex technical troubleshooting.
- Experience writing interfaces for Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
- Experience working in energy/power companies (transmission/distribution) or infrastructure firms (gas, fuel, water, telecom, desalination).
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and team-player mindset.
