Supply Chain Project Lead

Lead all supply chain activities for defense technology projects from planning to delivery. Ensure material availability aligned with project timelines. Plan material requirements based on BOM, create purchase requests, monitor orders, and mitigate supply risks. Coordinate cross-functionally with Procurement, Logistics, NPI, and Commercial SCM.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all supply chain activities for assigned projects from planning to delivery.
  • Ensure material availability aligned with project timelines and milestones.
  • Plan material requirements based on BOM, demand, and project schedules.
  • Create and manage Purchase Requests (PRs) for procurement execution.
  • Monitor and control open orders, deliveries, and shortages.
  • Act as the primary focal point for all supply chain topics within the project.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Procurement, Logistics, NPI, and Commercial SCM.
  • Identify, escalate, and mitigate supply risks (lead time, shortages, EOL, constraints).
  • Provide accurate delivery commitments and status updates to stakeholders.
  • Support project planning, scheduling, and prioritization from a supply chain perspective.
  • Ensure alignment between project requirements and supply chain capabilities.
  • Maintain high data accuracy in ERP systems (items, orders, statuses, dates).

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or Production Planning.
  • Proven experience in project-based environments; multi-project experience is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of BOM structures, material flow, and end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Priority).
  • Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Team player with good communication skills and a service-oriented approach.
