Seeking a senior procurement project manager to oversee procurement, supply chain, and logistics for advanced defense and space systems. Responsibilities include planning, vendor management, and cross-functional coordination.
Responsibilities
- Control procurement activities across projects
- Plan equipping and define Long Lead Items (LLI)
- Ensure issuing of demands and conduct procurement committees
- Issue orders and track supplies to ensure timely delivery
- Monitor and control L0B (basis of estimate)
- Promote procurement and logistics process improvements
- Collaborate with supplier managers, buyers, production, and business management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management or Logistics
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement
- Experience in supply chain management
- Understanding of mechanical and technology procurement
- Strong organizational skills and ability to plan multiple tasks under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Matrix leadership capabilities
