Seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead R&D projects in defense and space manufacturing. Responsible for overseeing multidisciplinary engineering projects from initiation through prototype to serial production, managing schedules, budgets, and team leadership. Requires engineering degree and proven experience with complex hardware/software systems, preferably electro-optical military systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering development projects with full responsibility for schedules, budgets, and performance.
- Manage costing and estimation of development activities, defining budgets based on work breakdown structures.
- Define, monitor, and control development work plans, ensuring achievement of project milestones.
- Make engineering decisions and provide professional guidance to the project team.
- Lead product development from initiation through prototype production to serial manufacturing.
- Report directly to the Engineering Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, Electro-Optics, or Physics).
- Proven experience managing development of complex multidisciplinary systems integrating hardware and software.
- Strong systems-thinking, leadership, and team guidance skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High proficiency in English.
Nice to have
- Experience in development and systems engineering of military electro-optical systems.
