Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale data center infrastructure projects, from initial site due diligence through construction to final handover, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Break down complex projects into manageable pieces and communicate goals and responsibilities to cross-functional and remote teams.
- Manage end-to-end program delivery from pre-contract design to final handover, including Colo, Hybrid Colo, and owned data centers.
- Coordinate interface between internal stakeholders (Real Estate, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, etc.) and external stakeholders (contractors, vendors).
- Build and maintain overall delivery program and project budget, submitting capital allocation requests to secure project finance.
- Collaborate with Capacity Planning, Energy, and Real Estate teams to develop short- and long-term build strategies.
- Lead continuous process improvement through workflow updates, documentation of lessons learned, and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Report regularly to senior leadership on project metrics vs. commitments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience leading delivery of IT projects with external customers.
Nice to have
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience in at least one industry vertical such as manufacturing, energy, or oil & gas.
- ITIL and Prince2 certification.
