Technical Program Manager
Senior individual contributor role responsible for establishing program frameworks, driving operational excellence, leading AI transformation, and managing cross-functional technology programs across a global TechOps & IT division. Reports directly to the VP.
Responsibilities
- Design and establish a division-wide program framework, aligning all departments under a unified delivery model.
- Define program scope, objectives, timelines, and success metrics.
- Manage cross-departmental dependencies and proactively resolve blockers.
- Own program visibility, status updates, decision logs, risk registers, and leadership reporting.
- Partner with the VP to design, document, and roll out operational procedures across the division.
- Identify inefficiencies, duplicated effort, and process gaps, and drive improvements.
- Establish standards and best practices that scale across IT, TechOps, and Developer Tools teams.
- Act as the VP's right hand on strategic, focused initiatives requiring cross-team coordination.
- Drive end-to-end delivery of key projects, from definition through deployment and stabilization.
- Spearhead the adoption of AI tools and automation across all departments within the division.
- Build the AI transformation roadmap, identify use cases, sequence initiatives, and track adoption.
- Champion culture change and embed AI-driven ways of working.
- Partner with Product & R&D to accelerate AI-assisted developer productivity.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in technology domains (software engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, IT, data, or program/project management).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing complex, cross-functional technology programs in a global environment.
- Proven end-to-end delivery track record from definition through deployment and production stabilization.
- Deep understanding of IT and/or R&D-centric organizations and their operational dynamics.
- Solid technical fluency in systems architecture, SDLC, data infrastructure, or IT/infrastructure environments.
- Strong command of program and project management frameworks, including Agile and hybrid models.
- Proficiency with delivery tools (Jira, Monday.com, Azure DevOps, MS Project) and collaboration platforms (Teams, Confluence).
