Senior Project Manager, Real Estate Development

We are looking for a senior project manager to lead end-to-end real estate development projects from initiation to handover. You will manage planning, permitting, budgets, schedules, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring high-quality delivery of income-producing properties.

Responsibilities

  • Manage construction, upgrade, and development projects for income-producing properties.
  • Lead projects from planning and initiation to completion and handover.
  • Drive permitting and licensing processes with municipalities, councils, and statutory bodies.
  • Coordinate daily with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, execution managers, and suppliers.
  • Manage multiple interfaces and align all project stakeholders.
  • Oversee schedules, budgets, milestones, and progress control.
  • Handle tendering, contracting, and performance monitoring.
  • Identify bottlenecks, risks, and deviations early and provide solutions.
  • Prepare status reports and present project progress to senior management.
  • Work with tenants and property users as needed.
  • Take ownership of quality, timeliness, and budget until project completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering & management, or a related field.
  • At least 5–8 years of experience in project management within real estate, construction, upgrade, or development.
  • Proven experience in income-producing real estate projects – significant advantage.
  • Experience working with municipalities, councils, authorities, and statutory bodies.
  • Experience advancing and managing permitting and building license processes.
  • Experience collaborating with architects, consultants, contractors, and execution managers.
  • Proven ability to lead a project independently and manage multiple interfaces concurrently.
  • Strong management, organizational, planning, and control skills.
  • Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, and engineering documents.
  • High responsibility, professional maturity, and a sense of ownership.
  • Systemic thinking combined with attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Assertiveness and ability to stand firm with professional stakeholders and authorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively with diverse parties.
  • Orderliness, organization, thoroughness, and ability to multitask.
  • High motivation, independence, and a proactive attitude.

Nice to have

  • High proficiency in Excel and project management tools.
  • Good command of English.
