Lead complex multidisciplinary projects from pre-sales to delivery, ensuring quality, cost, schedule adherence, and customer satisfaction. Manage cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customer relationships in defense and industrial electronics manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex, multidisciplinary projects from pre-sales and order stages through final delivery
- Take full responsibility for project quality, costs, schedules, deliverables, and customer satisfaction
- Manage commercial and business relationships with customers in Israel and international markets
- Lead project activities involving development, prototypes, qualification, NPI, and production transfer
- Manage and coordinate suppliers and subcontractors for material availability, quality, and on-time delivery
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, R&D, production, procurement, quality, operations, and supply chain
- Build and manage project plans, tasks, milestones, resources, budgets, and performance indicators
- Identify project risks, remove obstacles, and implement mitigation plans
- Present project status and recommendations to company management
- Support management decision-making processes
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and optimize organizational project management processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant discipline
- At least 7 years of experience managing complex projects in an electronics manufacturing company
- Proven experience defining and leading customer projects in defense and commercial industries
- Experience managing projects from pre-order through delivery
- Experience with R&D teams throughout development, prototype, qualification, and production transfer
- Proven experience leading NPI processes and transferring products from development to production
- Experience working with suppliers, subcontractors, and supply chain teams
- Strong matrix management and stakeholder leadership skills without direct managerial authority
- Proficiency with project management systems and tools (work plans, task management, milestones, risk/resources management, reporting)
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel in Israel and internationally
- Broad business, operational, and system-level perspective
- Strong leadership, assertiveness, initiative, and independence
- Excellent analytical and complex problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple projects/priorities
- Experience with ERP systems, project management platforms, and advanced digital tools
- Strong proficiency with AI tools and innovative technologies for workflow improvement
