Manage and deliver critical infrastructure projects in live data centers. Responsibilities include overseeing electrical, mechanical, and architectural systems, managing project scope, timeline, budget, quality, and commissioning. Drive operational excellence and lead cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee construction projects modifying existing data center infrastructure.
- Own project scope, timeline, and budget.
- Provide project management for data center resiliency initiatives.
- Review electrical designs for data center optimization.
- Review construction and project package drawings.
- Create project scope, RFPs, and capital requests.
- Ensure total project quality and oversee commissioning.
- Record and report key metrics.
- Provide operational support and review procedures.
- Drive troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis.
- Manage contractors and vendors for efficient project turnovers.
- Lead internal and external teams.
- Travel to support projects in EMEA.
Requirements
- 3+ years vendor management experience.
- 4+ years relevant work in a data center or critical environment.
- 5+ years data center engineering or operations experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Nice to have
- 3+ years construction or project management experience.
- Electrical or mechanical Journeyman License.
- Operating engineering license such as DC II, DC III, or equivalent.
