Seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead the development of a next-generation geospatial intelligence platform for satellite imagery analytics. The role involves owning the product roadmap, translating customer needs into technical specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The company operates in the defense and space manufacturing industry, focusing on civilian space initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap for a geospatial intelligence platform.
  • Translate customer operational needs into product requirements and technical specifications.
  • Define, prioritize, and manage product features, epics, and user stories.
  • Collaborate closely with Software, AI, DevOps, GIS, and System Engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Lead the product lifecycle from concept through development, deployment, customer acceptance, and operational rollout.
  • Define product KPIs and success metrics.
  • Participate in customer meetings, technical workshops, demonstrations, and product reviews.
  • Support system validation, testing, and the deployment of new capabilities.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
  • 3+ years of Product Management experience leading complex software products.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience working alongside software development teams.
  • Experience writing Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across customers, Marketing, Engineering, Software Development, and System Engineering teams.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Geospatial Information Systems (GIS).
  • Experience with Earth Observation (EO) imagery or satellite data.
  • Familiarity with AIS or maritime surveillance systems.
  • Experience working with AI-based products or Computer Vision solutions.
