Senior Product Manager, Field Operations
Own field operations products, bridging software and hardware to enhance efficiency and profitability. Define KPIs, manage releases, and drive continuous improvement through user research and data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Understand field operators and operations leadership, translate learnings into product priorities
- Own the field-to-product feedback loop, ensuring alignment between Product, R&D, and Operations
- Turn operator know-how into documented requirements, specs, and best practices
- Own end-to-end field workflow: mission planning, site preparation, data collection, and data handoff
- Improve operator-facing flows under constraints like time pressure, harsh environments, and hardware limits
- Own release gates and staged rollout process, ensuring field readiness
- Coordinate rollout with Operations, ensuring training, documentation, and support
- Define and own KPI set for field operations, instrument products for reliable event capture
- Use data to investigate issues, analyze bottlenecks, validate impact, and build dashboards
- Run structured experiments including before/after comparisons, usability tests, and controlled pilots
Requirements
- 5+ years in product management with exposure to operational or field/industrial systems
- Strong command of product management practice: discovery, specification, prioritization, engineering collaboration
- Ability to define problems clearly, prioritize deliberately, and avoid fragmentation
- Comfortable in evolving environments, inclined to improve processes
- Strong execution mindset, understanding trade-offs between schedule, quality, and safety
- Fluency in working with R&D on technical constraints and with operators on practical friction
- Experience using data and analytics tools for product insight
- High-level English, written and spoken

- Engineering degree or comparable technical background
- Product management experience on hardware used in field operations
- Experience spanning both software and hardware in a single product
- Experience in a startup or scale-up environment
