Lead a groundbreaking technological program in directed energy weapon systems. Manage development, resources, risks, and schedules while coordinating with defense clients and international customers. Guide internal teams and technical leads to meet program goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a development program in advanced directed energy and electromagnetic field systems
- Build work plans, manage resources, risks, and schedules
- Maintain ongoing relationships with the Ministry of Defense and international clients
- Guide internal development teams and technical leads to execute tasks according to plan
- Work with client technical representatives, presenting status and progress
- Write contracting documents and manage subcontractors and suppliers while meeting quality and time targets
- Collaborate regularly with matrix interfaces within the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Exact Sciences
- At least 3 years of experience managing complex projects in a matrix environment
- Proven experience in system development and integration processes
- Experience in writing contracting documents and managing suppliers
- High-level English proficiency in speaking and technical writing, including presenting to international clients
- Willingness to travel off-site several days a month
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to motivate interfaces in a matrix environment
Nice to have
- Master's degree in a relevant field or Bachelor's in Business Administration
