Join a leader in high-scale networking software for AI infrastructure and service providers as a Global Planning Manager. This role bridges internal demand signals with external manufacturing capacity, ensuring optimal inventory, cost, and risk management. You will own end-to-end supply chain planning for hardware, driving data automation and AI-based process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Own the global S&OP process end-to-end, building short, mid, and long-term demand forecasts by product family and region.
  • Translate forecasts into master plans, purchase orders, capacity reservations, and commit schedules with CM/ODM partners.
  • Manage CM/ODM partner relationships, including procurement policies, capacity allocation, OTD/cost/flexibility KPIs, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Set global safety stock policy, drive excess and obsolete inventory disposition, and build multi-source strategies for single-source/long-lead components.
  • Lead capacity and ramp planning for new product introductions, from line/test capacity through qualification gates.
  • Own the demand-supply data platform and drive AI-based automation of forecast-to-supply processes.
  • Partner with Procurement and Finance on COGS targets, BOM cost, and supply chain risk mitigation through negotiations, logistics optimization, and process efficiency.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years in Supply Chain, Operations, or Planning in a hardware company, including 3+ years in people management or senior individual-contributor ownership.
  • Proven hands-on experience managing CM/ODM relationships, reconciliation, and costing processes across global locations.
  • Deep knowledge of S&OP, demand-supply balancing, and MRP/ERP systems.
  • Strong commercial and contractual experience with MSAs and pricing negotiations.
  • Data-driven decision-maker, proficient in Excel/BI tools, with a track record leading AI-driven process automation.
  • Excellent communication skills with executive-level audiences; able to move between strategic and operational levels.

  • Experience with PCBA/box-build/system-level test at ODMs.
  • Experience with PLM/BOM tools.
  • Experience with IT/ERP/AI implementation.
