Director, Product Management, Edge Security
Lead product strategy and execution for application security solutions at a globally recognized cybersecurity company. Manage a team of product managers, drive innovation in edge security, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value to enterprise customers worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision and strategy, articulating it to internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor a team of product managers, providing coaching and direction.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis of customer challenges and translate findings into product requirements.
- Drive the development of innovative analytics capabilities that differentiate the platform.
- Engage directly with enterprise customers to understand their evolving needs and validate solutions.
- Monitor all KPIs and drive initiatives with cross-functional teams to exceed product revenue and profitability goals.
- Define and track key product metrics to measure success and guide decision-making.
- Analyze market wins and losses, driving changes to product and processes for improvement.
- Serve as an external spokesperson for the company’s products and solutions.
- Collaborate with product marketing on release, market positioning, and go-to-market training.
- Partner with sales and marketing to deliver compelling product marketing content and drive pricing, packaging, and positioning decisions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Product Management experience in Enterprise Security or related solutions.
- 5+ years in management positions with direct reports, demonstrating leadership and team development skills.
- Proven success in defining customer pain points, market opportunities, and bringing products to market.
- Experience executing across all product life cycles: new market entry, mid-maturity, and mature products.
- Strong technical background with understanding of web technologies and security concepts.
- Knowledge of application security concepts (OWASP Top 10, attack patterns) is an advantage.
- Experience with modern cloud architectures and their performance implications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
