Lead a team of software engineers to deliver highly scalable and maintainable user-facing systems and APIs. Design, implement, and optimize backend solutions using Python, PostgreSQL, and cloud technologies. Hire, mentor, and inspire engineering excellence while planning and executing agile sprints.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of high-caliber software engineers to achieve business goals in a high-paced Agile environment while maintaining highest quality.
- Design, implement and optimize highly scalable and maintainable user-facing systems and APIs.
- Hire, mentor and inspire a team to adopt engineering excellence.
- Become a subject matter expert on architecture, performance, and optimization.
- Plan and execute quarterly and sprint plans, communicating risks and mitigations effectively.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development.
- 3+ years of technical leadership and people management experience.
- 2+ years of experience in Python.
- Experience with Architecture, PostgreSQL, Cloud, and Micro-Services development.
- Experience leading projects and planning work in Agile and dynamic manner.
- BSc or BA in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
Nice to have
- Experience in Linux and AWS.
