Lead product engineering team through NPI to sustaining manufacturing for radar systems. Drive root cause analysis, CAPA, ECO/ECN, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and operations teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead product engineering activities from NPI to sustaining engineering
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Product Engineers
- Drive successful transfer of products from R&D to high-volume manufacturing
- Provide ongoing engineering support to production lines and subcontractors
- Lead root cause analysis, failure investigations, and CAPA implementation
- Manage engineering changes (ECO/ECN) and maintain product documentation
- Collaborate with Hardware, Software, Mechanical, System Engineering, Integration & Test, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, and Program Management
- Drive continuous improvement in quality, reliability, manufacturability, yield, and cost reduction
- Support product qualification, manufacturing readiness, and configuration management
- Act as primary engineering focal point for sustaining products, ensuring customer satisfaction
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, NPI, or similar
- At least 2 years of proven managerial experience leading engineering teams
- Experience with complex electronic assemblies, PCBAs, and multidisciplinary systems
- Proven experience transferring products from R&D to manufacturing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with root cause analysis experience
- Experience in high-tech manufacturing environment (defense industry advantage)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
