Lead a team of 4 managing storage, backup, and database systems. Oversee operations, plan infrastructure, design solutions, and coordinate projects with IT interfaces. Requires 6+ years experience with Dell EMC, VMware, and backup technologies.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team responsible for the availability, reliability, and proper operation of all storage, backup, and database environments
- Take overall responsibility for maintaining storage, backup, and database systems and implementing ongoing operational plans
- Plan and prepare infrastructure to meet future organizational needs
- Design and implement technological solutions for projects involving storage, backup, and database systems
- Manage a professional team of 4 employees
- Manage resources including personnel, budgets, and work orders
- Coordinate, plan, and execute integrated projects with IT interfaces such as Information Security, Data Communications, and Information Systems
- Document existing systems and develop operational procedures
- Manage relevant contracts and vendors for storage, backup, and database environments
Requirements
- Relevant academic or professional education
- At least 6 years of experience working with storage, backup, and database systems in a large enterprise, including integrating systems across diverse environments
- Experience managing a team of at least 4 employees in the technology infrastructure field within a large enterprise
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with advanced storage systems such as Dell EMC solutions
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with data backup systems
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft and VMware technologies
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft-based databases
- Proven experience planning and executing storage and backup system upgrade and implementation projects
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency in Hebrew and English
Nice to have
- Experience implementing and maintaining HP storage environments
- Experience with storage and backup management and monitoring products
- Experience working with various backup solutions such as NetWorker and Veeam
- Extensive knowledge of infrastructure domains including networking, information security, and databases
