Lead the engineering team responsible for an enterprise-grade AI compliance platform serving top banks and fintechs. Own platform architecture, team growth, and agentic systems that achieve 99% accuracy at scale. Drive technical strategy and set guardrails for production compliance systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow an engineering team, owning team output, development, and retention.
- Build and evolve agentic AI systems that make high-stakes compliance decisions at scale with 99% accuracy, low cost, and high throughput.
- Define guardrails, change management practices, and engineering procedures that meet the standards of tier-1 financial institutions.
- Own customer-facing policy configuration workflows and internal tooling for Technical Account Managers.
- Partner with the Head of R&D on technical direction, roadmap, and hiring strategy.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams.
- 5+ years of hands-on backend engineering, with proficiency in Python or Node.js preferred.
- 5+ years in a B2B SaaS environment with a strong understanding of product development.
- Experience with databases and data tools such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Amazon S3, Amazon SQS, and Apache Airflow.
- Hands-on experience with the modern LLM stack: prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG, evaluation frameworks, and inference infrastructure.
- Strong cloud-native background (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and experience operating distributed systems in production.
- Track record of shipping high-scale, low-latency production systems.
- CS or Computer Engineering degree.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and create clarity out of ambiguity.
