Engineering Team Lead to lead a backend team developing an AI-native cybersecurity platform. Design distributed systems and microservices on Kubernetes. Drive technical direction, mentor engineers, and shape architecture. Requires 7+ years software engineering, 2+ years team leadership, and cloud experience. Hybrid Tel Aviv.
Responsibilities
- Build large-scale distributed backend systems.
- Design and evolve microservices architecture on Kubernetes.
- Develop AI and LLM-powered capabilities.
- Drive technical direction, architecture, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor engineers and help build a high-performing engineering organization.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- At least 2 years leading engineering teams.
- Strong backend or full stack development background.
- Experience building end-to-end systems.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems.
- Degree from a leading university or experience in an elite military technology unit.
Nice to have
- Experience with Go.
- Cybersecurity background.
- Startup experience with end-to-end ownership.
