Join a pool of non-key experts for an EU-funded project providing communication support across North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf. This short-term, on-demand role focuses on drafting content, writing scripts, and developing campaign messages to strengthen the visibility of EU policies.
Responsibilities
- Draft engaging communication content for websites, newsletters, articles, press materials, and social media platforms.
- Write scripts for videos, podcasts, interviews, and other audio-visual communication products.
- Develop campaign messages and storytelling content tailored to different audiences and communication channels.
- Edit and proofread communication materials to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
- Collaborate with communication specialists, graphic designers, and audio-visual teams to produce integrated communication products.
- Adapt content for digital platforms while ensuring compliance with EU editorial and communication guidelines.
- Support the preparation of speeches, briefing notes, key messages, and promotional materials.
- Contribute to the development of communication campaigns and outreach activities.
Requirements
- Degree (or equivalent) in journalism, communication, or languages.
- Excellent written English.
- Minimum 2 years of general experience in copywriting or journalistic writing.
- Minimum 1 year of specific experience drafting communication content such as articles, scripts, or social media posts.
Nice to have
- French and/or Arabic language skills are an asset.
