We are looking for a senior financial analyst to join our team. The role involves complex economic and financial analyses, financial statement analysis, planning, budgeting, forecasting, market research, benchmarking, and presenting findings to senior management. The ideal candidate has a strong economic or financial background, high proficiency in Excel, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex economic and financial analyses and produce business insights
- Analyze financial statements, business activity, performance, and trends
- Handle planning, budgeting, forecasting, comparisons, and in-depth analyses
- Conduct market research, benchmarking, and analysis of the business and financial environment
- Identify trends, opportunities, and improvement points and formulate recommendations
- Prepare presentations, position papers, and professional materials for management
- Present data, conclusions, and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Lead tasks and initiatives independently and proactively
Requirements
- Relevant education in economics, business administration, or a related financial field
- Significant experience in economic and financial analyses (mandatory)
- Experience in analyzing and understanding financial statements (mandatory)
- Experience in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Very high proficiency in Excel and executive-level presentation skills
- Ability to translate data and numbers into insights, recommendations, and operational steps
- Strong presentation and communication skills with senior management
- Broad business thinking, curiosity, initiative, and ability to drive matters independently
- Mental flexibility and ability to work well even when tasks are not always predefined
- Willingness to work hard and be available beyond standard hours when needed
Nice to have
- Good familiarity with the banking and financial system, especially staff activities
- Experience in market research, benchmarking, and trend analysis
- Background from financial institutions, banks, consulting firms, rating companies, or research bodies
