Responsible for full-cycle accounting and payroll at a digital bank. Manage bookkeeping, payments, month-end close, and regulatory compliance. Oversee supplier payments, payroll processing, pension controls, and cash flow. Implement process improvements and SOX controls.
Responsibilities
- Manage full bookkeeping and supplier payments
- Oversee month, quarter, and year-end closing processes including balance sheet submission
- Handle payments to domestic and international suppliers
- Manage reporting and payments to authorities and institutions
- Conduct budget control and ongoing cash flow management
- Manage fixed assets and depreciation
- Compile payroll data for processing and perform routine payroll controls
- Coordinate with pension operators for contributions and onboarding
- Implement bank procedures and maintain SOX-compliant controls
- Initiate and drive process improvements and control enhancements
Requirements
- Accounting certificate type 3 or equivalent diploma
- 5+ years as a sole or head accountant
- High proficiency in Hashavshevet, ERP systems, and Excel
- Independent, team player, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Nice to have
- Significant experience in a bank, institutional body, or regulated financial company
- Payroll and pension controls experience; payroll accountant certificate is a significant advantage
