Financial Controller
Responsible for quarterly and annual financial reports, monthly management reports, regulatory submissions to the Bank of Israel, tax reporting, and enforcing financial controls. Requires CPA, 5+ years in finance/accounting, knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS, and advanced Excel. Banking experience preferred. Full-time, Tel Aviv.
Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly and yearly financial reports.
- Compile monthly reports for management and Board of Directors, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and capital adequacy ratios.
- Prepare and submit financial reports to the Bank of Israel in accordance with all applicable regulations.
- Enforce financial reporting controls to ensure regulatory compliance and data accuracy.
- Prepare the bank's annual tax report.
Requirements
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial reporting.
- Experience preparing financial statements and managing financial reporting processes.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- High level of English, both written and verbal.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Nice to have
- Experience in the banking industry or with financial institutions.
- Strong knowledge of ERP, with a preference for Oracle and SAP.
- Knowledge and experience in preparing disclosures on "Credit to the public".
