Controller responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting under US GAAP and IFRS, and client management for tech startups and public companies. Requires CPA, Big 4 internship, and 1-2 years of controllership experience.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day accounting operations and monthly/quarterly close for a portfolio of tech clients.
- Prepare financial statements under US GAAP and IFRS, including for publicly traded companies.
- Support public company reporting to Israeli and global stock exchanges.
- Work directly with client leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Manage cross-border (Israel–U.S.) accounting matters, including intercompany and transfer pricing.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and payroll providers.
- Improve and automate accounting workflows using AI tools.
Requirements
- CPA with completed Big 4 internship.
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller.
- Solid command of US GAAP and/or IFRS and financial statement preparation.
- Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Priority) and strong Excel skills.
- Hands-on ability to work with AI tools (Claude or similar).
- Strong English communication skills.
- Independent, proactive, and able to manage multiple clients.
Nice to have
- Experience with public company reporting (TASE, Nasdaq/NYSE).
- Experience with tech-sector or startup clients.
- Experience with U.S. entities of Israeli companies.
