Controller responsible for monthly close, budgeting, and FP&A. Builds automation and AI-driven workflows, prepares tax returns, and supports audits. Requires CPA, NetSuite, and experience in hi-tech finance.
Responsibilities
- Support monthly closing processes for accounting and FP&A
- Build and maintain financial reports and dashboards
- Perform budget vs. actual analysis and provide insights
- Develop financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and planning
- Create automation and AI-driven workflows to streamline reporting and analysis
- Prepare tax returns and reports for authorities
- Coordinate with external auditors
- Prepare presentations and reports for management and stakeholders
- Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve data issues
- Support ad-hoc financial analyses and projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA with completed internship
- 2+ years post-internship experience in hi-tech finance
- Hands-on NetSuite experience
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
- Fluent English (verbal and written)
- High standard of accuracy and attention to detail
- Resourceful, independent, and strong interpersonal skills
- Quick learner, organized, and deadline-oriented
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with AI and automation tools such as Claude Code
