Develop a browser protection platform and extensions that safeguard data, identities, devices, and SaaS access while maintaining a high-quality browsing experience. Own features from design through delivery and collaborate with distributed cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement browser protection capabilities and extensions for browsers such as Chrome and Edge
- Leverage Chromium knowledge and endpoint sensor integrations to develop browser security features
- Own product features from design through delivery
- Contribute to product roadmaps and architectural decisions
- Collaborate with distributed cross-functional teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer-reported product issues
- Build secure, high-performance browser solutions without compromising browsing experience
Requirements
- At least 5 years of industry experience building high-performance software products
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related engineering discipline
- Expertise in at least two of Node.js, React internals, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Chromium internals
- Strong understanding of web development internals and APIs
- Experience with RESTful APIs and secure data handling within extensions
- Strong research, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies such as Jtest, QUnit, Mocha, or Selenium
- Experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, or business outcomes
Nice to have
- Browser, email client, or file-sync extension and plugin development
- Experience with OneDrive, Google Drive, Box, or similar web services
- Knowledge of operating system internals
- Experience mentoring engineers, leading technical initiatives, or managing small teams
