Senior C++ Windows Engineer
Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining security-focused software components for Windows platforms. Involves C++ development, Windows internals integration, performance tuning, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, secure products.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced security-focused software components on Windows using C++.
- Integrate with Windows internals and system APIs, optimizing performance and reliability for enterprise-scale deployments.
- Collaborate with product managers and architects to define technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, write automated tests, and troubleshoot complex production issues.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and drive best practices in secure coding.
- Improve development tools and workflows.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in modern C++ (including STL) with experience building high-performance, production-grade Windows applications.
- Hands-on experience with Windows internals (processes, services, memory management, IPC), Win32 APIs, and system-level programming.
- Experience with software design principles, object-oriented programming, multithreading, and debugging complex systems.
- Familiarity with development tools and practices such as Visual Studio, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Ability to analyze requirements, write clear technical specifications, and deliver maintainable, well-documented code.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to have
- Background in security-oriented software, identity or access management, networking, or similar domains.
- Hebrew proficiency.
