Join a networking product engineering team to develop reliable automated tests for switches and DPU adapters, from early development through mass production.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated tests for networking switches and DPU adapters
- Define and develop tests from early product development through network-system mass production
- Collaborate with hardware, ASIC, software, and global manufacturing teams
- Improve test coverage, production yield, capacity, and cost efficiency
- Lead test-solution innovations to reduce test time and improve product quality
- Use test suites to identify, debug, and resolve production issues
- Maintain existing test code and support production deployments, patches, and ongoing operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of related software development experience
- At least 3 years of Python development experience
- Strong programming, debugging, performance analysis, and test-design skills
- Excellent knowledge of version control, preferably Git
- Experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems
- Experience integrating software and hardware products
- Experience with hardware lab measurement equipment
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Nice to have
- Perl or C programming experience
- Knowledge of hardware testing and mass-production flows
- Experience with yield-improvement methodologies
- Creativity in solving complex testing requirements
- Familiarity with new test technologies and methodologies
