Lead end-to-end validation strategy for next-generation hardware platforms, developing scalable automation and diagnostics while guiding cross-functional teams through complex system testing.
Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end system validation strategies for new hardware platforms
- Define test coverage and validation methodologies
- Align product requirements and coverage plans with hardware, software, quality, and QA teams
- Lead development of scalable test automation frameworks and diagnostic tools
- Analyze test data, identify root causes, and guide debugging efforts
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship across multidisciplinary teams
- Represent system test considerations in architecture and design reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field
- At least 8 years of hardware or system test engineering experience
- Strong understanding of CPUs, GPUs, memory subsystems, I/O, and power delivery
- Experience developing and executing validation plans for complex hardware systems
- Strong hardware debugging skills and experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and related test equipment
- Familiarity with firmware, BIOS, and low-level software interactions
- Proficiency with scripting and automation using Python, Perl, Bash, or similar tools
