Collaborate with R&D to lead quality assurance for networking features from design to deployment. Develop Python automation frameworks, test L2/L3 protocols, and debug on simulated ASIC. Requires strong OOP, Linux, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Review architectural designs and requirements for new product features.
- Lead the design, development, and execution of tests across functional, performance, and security scopes.
- Develop Python automation suites based on clean OOP principles.
- Track and resolve defects, validating fixes to root cause.
- Utilize the SimX platform to validate code and debug ASIC before hardware arrival.
Requirements
- Combined network engineering and software expertise.
- 5+ years of hands-on QA or networking experience with CCNP-equivalent protocol knowledge: L2 (VLAN, STP), L3 (BGP, OSPF), EVPN, VXLAN, PFC, ECN, RoCE, QoS.
- Production-quality Python engineering with strong OOP design and Pytest experience.
- Deep Linux proficiency (LPIC-1 or LPIC-2 level) for system internals, log analysis, and debugging.
- Clear communication skills in written and spoken English.
- B.Sc. or B.A. or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related.
Nice to have
- Experience with Docker and traffic generation tools (Ixia, TRex, Scapy).
- Hands-on CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Knowledge of virtualization platforms (KVM, VMware).
