Join our Alteon application delivery controller QA team as a part-time student. Develop Python automation infrastructure and tests, define test plans, and work with AI-assisted tools in a dynamic cybersecurity environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop automation infrastructure and end-to-end tests in Python
- Create automation tools in Python
- Define, execute, and document test plans and cases
Requirements
- Second- or third-year student in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Proficiency in Python
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude)
- Basic understanding of machine learning and generative AI
- Experience with Linux command line
- Strong problem-solving and research skills
- Self-motivated and independent worker
Nice to have
- Experience with virtualization (VMware, etc.)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Hands-on experience using AI tools for test automation
- Understanding of L2-L7 networking protocols (HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP)
- Basic networking and packet analysis skills
