Workshop Manager & Mechanical Designer
Responsible for managing a development workshop, including operating 3D printers and laser cutters, performing mechanical design in SolidWorks, assembling prototypes, conducting tests, and maintaining equipment and facilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage and operate the workshop end-to-end, including 3D printers, laser cutting machines, and work equipment.
- Procure materials and workshop equipment, and perform routine maintenance on machines and devices.
- Provide mechanical design support using SolidWorks, prepare files for prototype production, and create engineering drawings.
- Assemble prototypes, conduct durability tests and technical experiments, document processes, and photograph models.
- Maintain office and workshop facilities.
Requirements
- Professional training: mechanical engineer (practical engineer), product/industrial design graduate, or technician, or equivalent hands-on technical/workshop experience.
- High technical aptitude and hands-on ability with manual and power tools; strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and creating engineering drawings.
- Practical experience with 3D printers, laser cutting, and workshop tools.
- Attention to detail, safety and order in the workshop, and ability to document and photograph development stages.
- Good English level.

- Previous experience in managing or working in a development/model workshop.
- Experience in conducting tests and experiments.
