Systems Engineer - Airborne Platforms
Lead the development of unmanned airborne and ground platforms end-to-end, including authoring system documents, conducting design reviews, and managing integrations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and work closely with domestic and international customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop, characterize, and lead unmanned airborne and ground platforms end-to-end
- Author system documents and specifications, conduct design reviews, and lead system integrations and trials
- Work closely with domestic and international customers and support complex multidisciplinary projects
- Collaborate with software, firmware, hardware, mechanical, and aerodynamics teams
- Drive processes within a matrix organization
- Gain exposure to advanced technological domains and influence development directions
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Engineering or Science
- At least 3 years of experience as a Systems Engineer in multidisciplinary systems or as a technical lead in airborne platforms (UAVs or VTOL)
- Experience in technical leadership and integration management in a matrix organization with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge and experience in areas such as propulsion, power sources, flight control, navigation, sensors and payloads, guidance and homing
- High level of English, including writing technical documents and conducting design reviews
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professional maturity
Nice to have
- Background in UAV flight operations or drone units
- Prior experience at unmanned aircraft companies
