Systems Architect
Research and define System and PHY architectures for next-generation wireless modem solutions, optimizing performance, power, and area. Bridge algorithmic models with hardware/firmware implementation, and drive cross-functional collaboration with algorithms, VLSI, software, RF, and validation teams through the full product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Research and define System and PHY architectures for next-generation wireless modems.
- Optimize performance, power, and area (PPA) for modem solutions.
- Define low-power architectures and design trade-offs.
- Translate algorithmic models into hardware and firmware specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including algorithms, VLSI, embedded software, RF, and validation.
- Participate in lab integration and testing, and support tier-1 customers.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer/Architect in the communications/chip industry.
- Strong expertise in Signal Processing (DSP) and Physical Layer (PHY) architectures.
- Background in semiconductor/chip companies and wireless communication.
- Deep understanding of wireless communication standards and digital modem architectures.
- Hands-on experience in HW/SW/RF integration, modem simulation, or lab bring-up.
Nice to have
- Background in RF systems, Radio architectures, or Low-Power optimization.
