Senior System Engineer responsible for system requirements, design, development, implementation, and integration of mission systems (hardware/software). Lead teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Drive operational success with AI.
Responsibilities
- Define system requirements, design, develop, implement and integrate mission systems across all life cycle stages.
- Deliver mission products (hardware and software) across required environments and platforms.
- Lead proposals for mission systems, including defining work statements, solutions, specifications, and execution.
- Perform risk analysis, incident resolution, change management, configuration management, and system integration at ground sites.
- Prepare and approve work plans for mission systems, manage activity control reviews, and ensure goal achievement.
- Support ILS processes for systems under responsibility.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in system engineering, project leadership, or development leadership of software-based, communication, or IT systems.
Nice to have
- BSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience leading medium/large teams and managing subcontractors.
- Master’s degree in Engineering.
- Familiarity with command and control (C2) systems.
- Experience developing tactical systems and integrating with Tzayad.
- Experience leading and performing integrations between systems in various industries.
