Lead low-level PCIe firmware design and verification for advanced networking hardware, collaborating across chip design, software, verification, and architecture teams.
Responsibilities
- Implement PCIe firmware and verification features
- Define and develop low-level firmware verification methods with software and architecture teams
- Improve automated firmware verification processes
- Develop and maintain Python-based testing environments
- Collaborate with chip design, verification, firmware, software, and architecture teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- At least 8 years of firmware design and verification experience
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, computer architecture, and operating systems
- Experience developing firmware features and verification methods in pre- and post-silicon environments
- Ability to work independently, solve complex problems, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
Nice to have
- Real-time or embedded software development experience
- Hardware verification concepts and tools
- Proficiency with C++, Python, Git, Jenkins, and test-driven development
- Networking, Linux, and scripting knowledge
